      LOR HELPS FEBRUARY 2025

      Greetings Lindsey,

Here at LOR, we are beginning 2025 with ambitious goals and need your help!

Looking at the months ahead, I am excited to continue supporting community solutions, whether it's through direct funding support, connecting groups to useful resources, or making person-to-person connections that help cultivate a brighter future for all of us here in Taos.

I also want to acknowledge that the LOR team is analyzing recent executive orders and other policy proposals to understand the implications for rural communities like Taos. That work takes time, especially as things are changing on an almost daily basis, but we will continue to share our understanding and resources through a variety of channels in the months ahead.

Even—and especially—in times of instability or uncertainty, LOR is commitment to working with locals (like you!) who have ideas about how to address quality-of-life issues. So, if you have a vision for a new project, program, or event, I hope you'll shoot me an email or schedule a time to connect so we can talk through the many ways LOR can help bring it to life. (Or, if you know someone with an idea, send them my way!)

I look forward to connecting with you soon.

      Sonya Struck,
      LOR Taos Community Officer
