Bowl for Kids' Sake

Big Brothers Big Sisters is hosting their annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising event in Taos on April 5th at Gutters Bowling Alley!
This event is our largest fundraising event to support youth mentoring services locally and we are looking for more groups to form a team of 5!
 
The goal is to get 5 people on your team and each person is responsible for raising at least $100 so $500 collectively. This can be done through asking friends, family, and colleagues for donations. Donations can also be collected online once your team is signed up or your team can raise funds through things like bake sales, garage sales etc.
Teams can be formed with your colleagues, friends, family members etc. (anyone you want to bowl with!)
 
Each year, this event has a theme. This year’s theme is Children’s Books! We encourage participants to dress up in their favorite children’s book characters and to bring a book on the day of the bowling event so we can give books to all the littles in our program.
We are excited about the theme this year because it promotes literacy and gets kids excited about reading.
 
On the day of the event, teams come at their designated time slot, bowl for 2 hours, get lunch and an event T-shirt. It is then basically a big party to celebrate all the funds that have been raised.
We also give out bowling pin trophies to the teams and individuals who raise the most money as well to the teams with the most team spirit.
