Hello Taos County Chamber members,
Could you please help me spread the word about this Community Health Needs Survey? It is so important to have many voices heard in this effort so that we can respond effectively to the needs of our community members.
Your health matters, and we want to hear from you! Holy Cross Medical Center is on a mission to better understand our community's health needs.
We invite you to participate in a short survey that will help us identify the challenges you face and the health resources our community needs. Your insights are crucial for shaping future healthcare services and programs in our area!
It's quick?less than 10 minutes! The survey is open until January 31st.
Click here to share your voice:
Thank you for participating by filling out the survey and sharing the link with those you serve. I have paper copies in English and Spanish. Please let me know if you would like me to deliver some to your agency. I have also attached a flyer here with a QR code to access the survey. It would be very helpful if you could hang one in your organization. I am happy to deliver printed surveys to your organization, too. Just let me know!
I am appreciative of your help in making this survey initiative a success!
With gratitude,
Jeannie

Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party. The Town of Taos and UNM-Taos are excited to extend a special invitation to you and your organization to be part of a celebration of reading, fun, and community at the Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party. This event will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM ? 4:00 PM at Bataan Hall located at 121 Civic Plaza Drive. Our goal is to show our community children the joy of reading and building a nation of readers on or about Dr. Seuss' Birthday and every day. You do not want to miss this fun-filled birthday party!
In honor of the beloved Dr. Seuss, we are inviting local service organizations, businesses, churches, charities, and the school district to set up a booth at the event with free give-a-ways, activities, and/or carnival games. There will be no fee for your booth space. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with families, share your mission or services, and contribute to an event dedicated to inspiring a love for reading.
The Dr. Seuss Birthday Party will feature a variety of fun activities, games, and readings, all under the whimsical theme of the red and white stovepipe hat made famous by the Cat in the Hat.
This event promises to bring together a community of readers, young and old, for a day of excitement and learning. By participating, you will have the chance to showcase your organization's offerings and make a meaningful impact on those who attend.
If you would like to join us, please complete and submit the attached application no later than Thursday, January 30, 2025, to secure your booth space. You can email the application to jesquibel@taosnm.gov or drop it off at the Taos Youth & Family Center, Community Events Office, located on 407 Paseo del Canon East. Once you turn in the booth application for participation, please confirm that I have received your application. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please sign up early or by the deadline to secure your space. UNM-Taos will be proving booth participants a 6' table and two chairs. Booth space structures, canopies, etc., are your responsibility.
Should you have questions in the interim, please contact me at 575-751-2037. We look forward to having you join us for this delightful celebration of literacy and community.
Remember to mark March 1st on your calendar, and join in the help in spreading the joy of reading and literacy in Taos!
