TAOS ART MUSEUM STORE PREPARES FOR YULETIDE IN TAOS WITH NEW ARTISAN MERCHANDISE
The Taos Art Museum Store, known as the go-to spot in town for unique gifts handmade by local artists, has added new artisan merchandise in preparation for Yuletide in Taos. Artists represented include ceramicist Rachel Donner (Nicolai Fechin’s own great granddaughter!); micaceous clay potters Ben Romero and Betsy Ortiz; and local jewelry artists such as Jacqueline Gala, Jools by Jo, Lyle Wright, Darlene Ryer, Ron Wesley, and Claire Brandenburg. For those looking for holiday items, the museum store is carrying one of a kind ornaments by Sandy Short created from gourds she finds around Taos; chile wreaths made at Gonzalez Farms; beautiful and often whimsical cards by Live Johnson and Valerie Graves; as well as gorgeous and meaningful Santos by Clare Villa – and so much more! Holiday Sale The Taos Art Museum Store will have a special holiday sale Saturday, December 1 – Sunday, December 2, 2018. All purchases up to $499 will receive a 10% discount. All sales of $500 and more will receive 20% off. Taos Art Museum Members will receive their 10% member discount in addition to the sale discount – there’s never been a better time to join! The sale weekend will include free gift wrapping, hot cider, and seasonal goodies to munch on. As always all museum purchases are tax free and help support the Taos Art Museum at Fechin House and local artists.
